The responsibility and duties of rural police
1. Day and night unions guard and patrol
2. Save the birth and death register and inform the union council about all the births and deaths in the area.

9. Anyone who is hiding in the country, who has no clear intention for life or who is not satisfied with his own identity, will report to the officer-in-charge of the police station about such a person.

11. If any pestilence or infectious disease or pestilence occurs in a large scale in human, animal or crop, then inform the union parishad immediately.
